Join us at one of our ski retreats in the new year! We will be meeting January 24th - 26th and February 21st - 23rd, 2025 in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, as we play, rest and connect in the beautiful San Juan mountains. We will ski/board at Wolf Creek Ski Area and stay at a nearby cabin together! Spending the days riding in the most snow in Colorado and spend the evenings relaxing by the fire and soaking in Pagosa’s Natural Hot Springs. In addition to all our adventuring, we will also be engaging in an evening sound bath and relaxing journaling session at the cabin one night. You’re welcome to ski as much or as little as you prefer. Last year, our group did two half days, but if you’re feeling excited and want to ride the whole day, that’s great! If some people in the group are headed out early and you need to sleep in or want to save some money and purchase a half-day pass, that’s great too! Overall- expect a relaxed weekend of skiing/snowboarding without the pressure of needing to give every second to riding. I want you to leave feeling rested and rejuvenated without feeling drained.
This retreat is ideal for women who want to spend a cozy weekend improving their skiing skills alongside a small group of powerful ladies. All ability levels are welcome! Whether you are skiing for the first time or working on landing your backflips, we invite you to come play in the snow with your sisters, deep in the San Juan Mountains!
This experience will be facilitated by Fran, the founder of Empowered to Explore. Fran is a certified Women’s Guidance Facilitator, a Wilderness First Responder, and a facilitator for at risk youth with mental health struggles. She brings an introspective element into exploring the outdoors which allows you to more deeply connect with yourself, your intuition, and your confidence through your adventures.
Your specific room and all your meals for the weekend are included in the price of registration. If you want to bring a friend and share one of the private rooms, you can add them onto your registration at a discounted rate.
